Arranging a funeral
Helping you through
Whether you visit our office, or prefer to make arrangements by telephone or email, we will guide you step-by-step through all the necessary procedures. Every funeral we arrange is a personal reflection of a life lived. Whether your wishes are for an elaborate or simple farewell, you can rest assured that your choices will be respected. Our flexible, personal approach means that we can respond to your requests and do everything we can to provide you with a meaningful and thoughtful day.
Taking care of everything, taking care of you
Once you and your family have decided if the funeral service will be a burial or cremation, we can begin to organise everything for you. If you are undecided however, we are here to offer our professional guidance to the various crematoriums and cemeteries as well as giving you a comprehensive cost of both types of services. We will liaise with all third parties concerned keeping you informed throughout the process.
Having worked closely with all our ministers’ of faith and celebrant/humanists for many years we will endeavour to arrange who we know will offer a thoughtful, dignified and bespoke service for your loved one, their family and friends. It is usual that the person who will be leading the service will meet with you prior to the funeral to discuss at length the content, thereby compiling a befitting and thoughtful tribute.
We can also assist you with order of service booklets, death announcements, musicians, soloists, singers and all your floral needs.
We are also accessible for individuals with disabilities, with a large entrance door providing access to our reception area, office, and chapel. Additionally, we can accommodate small gatherings of up to 20 people in our chapel of rest.
Please note that the person organising the funeral and giving us instructions (known as the Applicant) must have the express authority of the close family to do so.
“From the time you first contact us, we assure you of our personal attention and confidentiality. We will look after your loved one with the utmost care and will always have you and your family’s best interests at heart.”
